Irene gave a talk entitled “Tailoring the superconducting properties of YBa2Cu3O7−δ thin
films by laser driven local oxygen doping” at the European Conference on Applied Superconductivity (EUCAS 2025) in Porto.
The talk focused on our research exploring direct laser writing as a method to locally control the oxygen content in thin films of the high-temperature superconductor YBCO. This approach enables precise tailoring of superconducting properties and opens new opportunities for directly writing functional structures for devices. Congrats Irene!! 🤩🤩👏👏
