In ERC-funded project B3YOND – “Beyond Nanofabrication via Nanoscale Phase Engineering of Matter”, we will develop a new nanofabrication methodology, using highly localized and tunable heat sources for crafting new artificial nanomaterials and devices for electronics and spintronics.
Start of Eurostars Project Magnisense!
Start of the EU-funded Eurostar Magnisense project, in collaboration with Parvis s.p.a. The main goal of the project is the development and testing of novel sensors and characterization methods for magnetic ink applied to security documents.
New paper on Optically-inspired Magnonics on the cover of Advanced Materials
In this work, we demonstrate a new methodology for generating and manipulating spin wave wavefronts in nanostructured synthetic antiferromagnets. The paper was published in Jan ’20 in Advanced Materials, and appeared on the Front Cover of the March 5th issue.
